TRAVELLING AROUND THE WORLD: VENICE!

CRAFT: Glide along a Venetian canal!  For the 23rd May 



1. Research Venice and its famous gondolas and gondoliers. Find a picture of a gondola.

2. Use your imagination to create a background scene of a Venice canal using any material you want. You might include buildings, a bridge over the water and people.

3. Use your scissors to cut the sides and top of a box if flaps are in the way. Attach your painting to the bottom of the box.

4. Draw a gondola. Fold the page and cut out the shape of the gondola so that you have two copies. Paint your gondola and let it dry.

   

5. Glue each end of both gondolas together and push open the middle of the boat.

6. With coloured pencils, draw a gondolier and glue him inside the gondola. Let it dry.
